Seattle is a large city with aesthetic beauty, well known for tourist attractions and also famous for its dazzling nightlife. It is situated between Puget Sound and Lake Washington having a view of Elliot Bay. The city is synonymously known as "The Emerald City" on account of spectacular greenery.

Getting In

If you are fond of air travel then you can choose to land in Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, also known as "Sea-Tac". But, if air travel is not what you prefer you can use train as an alternative to access the city. If while traveling, you also want to take the delight of scenic beauty you can select the option of bus services as well. If the option of traveling through taxi suits your budget, you can opt for that too.

Getting Around

If you like traveling in public transports, you can opt for any of these transits i.e. Metro Transit, Sound Transit and Link Light Rail. If you can hire a rental car or own one privately, then you shouldn't have any issue in navigating through this city. There are very good facilities involving bicycle riding if you have any interest towards it. The lanes of Seattle are tailored to suit the needs of bicycle riders with perfection.

Climate

Weather of Seattle is best described as the dominance of torrential rains over the sunny weather. During the duration of the year, chilly weather is experienced for the most part but a scarce array of sunny days is also observed on a particular span of time in the year. Light showers of rain are pervasive all over in Seattle.

Seattle is a home to the finest museums pervasive in this world. Important Events

Sea fair is usually held in July or August and it majorly consists of march past, local fairs which concludes with hydroplane races. Hempfest is a two day celebration which takes place in August and is a manifestation of political rally. Fremont Fair is also another event that is held in the confines of Seattle.

Seattle being a coastal region offers phenomenal seafood with an amazing variety of scrumptious foods. Seattle is unequivocally famous for its coffee which is even unparalleled in the mainland USA.
